Volveremos. Gracias a todo el equipo de ArtUbu!

Our magical journey to Bali flowed beautifully with the attention and expert assistance of Wayan and the staff of Ubud Art Villa. The villa is a tranquil and beautiful space in a perfect location to enjoy Ubud or venture out on day trips. Wayan was a great guide and showed us the real Bali through the heart of the Balinese people and its culture...rich in ceremony and exquisite natural beauty. It was home for us, and we were welcomed and cared for lovingly, like family! It was our first visit to Bali and Ubud Art Villa, but it will not be the last! Thanks to Bruce, Wayan, and the staff for your kindness and your care. Cynthia

My stay in the Art Manor was a delight. This is a sister Villa to the Ubud Art Villa. The spacious downstairs room, the gorgeous indoor outdoor bathroom, the brilliant pool and the friendly service are all worth coming back to experience time and again. Bruce and Wayan are wonderful hosts. Penestanan has some great new restaurants and coffee shops including my favourites Element and Kue and Yellow Flower which is through the track on the way to the Bintang Supermarket. The atmosphere is mesmerising. If you wish you can rent the whole Manor Villa, when it is available, giving you the most outstanding 2 bedroom, 3 storey accommodation with large living area with a huge dining area and separate kitchen and a wifi/internet capable entertainment hub. The weather in August was just perfect with refreshing breezes streaming through the open lounge area. I look forward to my return visit later this year. Thank you to the Ubud Art Villa and Art Manor Villa team.

Heartfelt thanks to Bruce, Wayan and Artvilla family for so warmly and thoughtfully looking after us at our recent yoga retreat.
The intimate Artvilla setting provided a splendid sanctuary. The lounge reception area comfortably fitted 12 yoga mats from where the participants viewed the delightful pool and ferny water feature (and occasionally Mt Agung!). We very much enjoyed the fresh, delicious food (including a Welcome Banquet) and appreciated the filtered water. A special outing to Holy Spring Temple for purification and blessings was a highlight.
Eagerly, we look forward to our next retreat at Artvilla.

Have just returned from staying with Bruce, Wayan and the loving family at UbudArtVilla...

Firstly, I loved this beautiful Villa with attention to detail and every comfort one could want. The views of Mt Agung are amazing and I awoke to every sunrise accompanied by Penestanan's incredible dawn chorus. Having the top floor of the Villa to myself was a luxury...Although some may see the stairs as steep..I saw daily exercise :)

My time here was VERY special as it was my Birthday and I awoke to the most beautiful art work of fresh flowers creating a patterned carpet at my door and leading all the way down the stairs to a yummy breakfast of Pancakes and fresh Juice.. My biggest surprise was all the family lead by Wayan singing Happy Birthaday whilst presenting me with a grand Birthday cake..surrounded by flowers and presents and candles...WOW!! We all ate cake and danced around the Kitchen whilst DJ Wowman (Wayan) played every version of Happy Birthday he could find on iTunes!!

I would like to say a big thank you to everyone at UbudArtVilla for making my stay one I will never forget...If you want a resort environment with silver service this is not for you...however if you are looking for somewhere to call your second home, look no further!

Hi to Bruce, Wayan, Bluce, Kadek, Ketut and Johhny See you again ...love Suex

Having been fortunate enough to find a 2 day, 2 room vacancy for our family in the villa's calendar that is booked months in advance, we arrived at the villa with open jaws...the photos in their website did not do justice to the beauty that welcomed us! As the name implies, this villa is not just a house...it's an artistic haven! The admiration does not end there... Bruce, the owner, went out of his way to accommodate our family, while Wayan, his manager, even drove for us when their driver couldn't make it. Even Madi Jon made the drive from and back to Kuta a very interesting ride. Breakfast is always fresh since supplies are bought every morning. This certainly raises the bar so high in our choice of future accommodations! Thank you very much to all of you!

Unlike a host of places in Bali which cater for the fly-by visitor, The Artvilla in Ubudis a visual gem. Tucked away like a hidden temple, we found it to be quiet and very close to the heart of Ubud. Bruce and Wyan, the owners of the hotel are more than willing to provide guided tours of Ubud. Their insider knowledge of the area means you will see places beyond the tourist trail. The staff are very friendly and prepare a delicious pandanus palm pancake for breakfast. Rooms are spacious and intimate with all the mod cons yet maintain the Balinese theme. I could go on and on but I'll save it for my next trip which will be straight to Artvilla.

A wonderful stay in a most wonderful Bali!! We loved every second being there! A nice bed, a beautiful bathroom and a delicious breakfast in combination with a really friendly staff and a good-humored Wayan made this holiday unforgetable! We had an amazing and unforgettable day with Wayan as guide through this beautiful island!! We saw so many wonderful new things and fell so many strong emotions! Lots of pictures and memories will help us to remember all of Bali his beauty! I also fell from stairs and i really have to say thank you to the whole staff for taking care of me!! I'm still in plaster right now, but memories make everything right :-) Goodbye and see you next time!!!
